Designed and constructed for Blake Property Group,
the landscape for this inner Darwin subdivision
needed to match the client’s expectations whilst
conforming to local authority guidelines (Darwin
City Council).
A feature of the subdivision is the
600m long sound barrier concrete wall on the highway
frontage. Whilst the wall was constructed to
architectural standards with curved top panels and
dual aggregate finishes, there was a need to provide
interest and aesthetic appeal through good planting
design.
Transplanting of advanced palms was carried
out in close proximity to overhead power requiring
innovative techniques which proved successful with
all transplants thriving. |
